Dining with Morgan Freeman


Vin'tij was honored to participate in the April 9th, 2011 fund raising dinner with special guest Morgan Freeman. The dinner package was auctioned the previous week at the Emeril Lagasse Live Auction, which in total raised over $240,000 for the Children's Advocacy Center, Children in Crisis, Children's Volunteer Health Network, Alaqua Animal Refuge and the Emeril Lagasse Foundation.

The event was created and generously hosted by Mike and Valerie Thompson. Chef John designed a spectacular menu for the evening. Dan Kosta of Kosta Browne Winery provided the wine pairings. The Vin'tij team helped serve a very appreciative dining party, including the special guest for the evening, Morgan Freeman. Thank you to all involved for a successful and memorable event. It was a very exciting evening as we are all BIG fans and Mr. Freeman did not disappoint!
