The avid fly fisherman that Chef John is, he set out to bring dinner home for his girl. He caught a few nice fish and brought the last one home (not before taking the customary snapshot.)
So this is where it began, before dinner John and Lee had a photo styling session with the catch!

Pan seared with tater tots and a fruit relish, a yummy dinner!! A few days later Lee is playing with the fish photo on her Mac, adding some “neon rock‘n roll”… as they say the rest is history.
